Dual A/Me farm anything.
DUAL ASSASSIN FARMING
I should mention at the start of this thread that I don't have an assassin myself, so I can't actually test this, and as of this moment remains untested. That's why I'm posting it here, so someone here can give it a try.
You'll need 2 A/Me with the following skills, attributes and equipment.
The build revolves around 3 skills.
Shadow Form
10/1/60
For 5...17 seconds, all hostile Spells that target you fail and all attacks against you miss. When Shadow Form ends, lose all but 5...41 Health.
Arcane Echo
15/2/30
If you cast a spell in the next 20 seconds, Arcane Echo is replaced with that spell for 20 seconds. Arcane Echo ends prematurely if you use a non-spell skill.
Arcane Mimicry
15/2/60
For 20 seconds, Arcane Mimicry becomes the non-Form Elite skill from target other ally.
You first cast Arcane Echo (AE), and echo Shadow Form (SF). When it's about to fall off AE after 19 seconds or so, cast the AE copy. This will give you around 44 seconds with near perfect cast times. What you then do is use Arcane Mimicry to copy your Friends Shadow Form, and cast that for another 24 seconds of invincibility. By then, your original shadow form will have recharged, giving you unlimited Spellbreaker and you'll never take damage. This leaves you with 5 free slots, one of which will most likely be Mantra of Concentration, since the cast times are quite easy to interrupt.
Attributes:
Shadow Arts: 12+1+3
Anything else.
Equipment:
You'll need full shrouded armor for the energy, and Zealous Daggers of Enchanting will be required, with a 15% Enchanted or +5 Energy inherent mod. Any number of Superior Runes are fine, since health shouldn't matter.
Farming Places:
With this build, UW farming should be easy, especially since you have 5 free slots to fill with damage skills etc. FoW would be possible I'm sure, but slower. Anywhere were there are fewer, but tougher enemies rather than swarms would be quite effective. You could, for example, inflict conditions on one enemy with your assassin primary, and then use your mesmer secondary for Epidemic.
If this has been posted before, I apologise, but I came up with this idea myself and to the best of my knowledge it hasn't been posted anywhere yet.

This is a really interesting idea. Unfortunately, I don't have an Assassin either, but it does seem like the math works out. At 16 Shadow Arts, you should be able to maintain Shadow Form indefinitely and have a couple of seconds of latitude in the cast times. You shouldn't even need to worry about interrupts, since Savage Slash, Disrupting Shot, and the like will miss and all the Mesmer interrupts are spells (as far as I can recall).
Just going over it in my head, it seems that there are only a handful of things that you will have to worry about. PBAoE spells don't require a target, therefore they can still damage you; so, you need to watch for the odd Crystal Wave or Flame Burst. Also, Chilblains can still strip your Shadow Form away (as can Well of the Profane). Skills that do damage, but aren't spells, per se, like Vampiric Touch and Spectal Agony will be unaffected. Finally, certain skills like Gladiator's Stance, Hex Breaker, and Mirror of Ice that inflict damage when you take certain actions against a foe will still work, as well.
Also, since 100% of attacks miss you, things like Retribution, Shield of Judgment, and Sympathetic Visage won't work at all. This eliminates a lot of the heavy hitters from your damage line-up. Spiteful Spirit should still work, but you've got both of your elite slots tied up. So, I have to agree with your analysis in that the build is more appropriate for farming small groups rather than large mobs. The conditions/Epidemic idea seems a good one though.
Good luck with this. I suspect the Assassin community would appreciate a marquis farming build like this promises to be.
p.s. Uh oh, just thought of something as I went to post this. When does the 60 second recharge of Arcane Mimicry begin? After it returns to being Arcane Mimicry, correct? If so, that makes the timing a lot dicier, since you're going to have to cast Arcane Mimicry something like 18 seconds before you use the copied Shadow Form in order to accommodate the 60 second recharge. It might still be possible though.

Yeah. The timing looks like it'll have to be pretty precise. You might want to do this with an experience guildie or something, but thanks for your comments. At worst, you'll get a full 60 seconds of Shadow Form, which can't be a bad thing. perhaps this could be a sweet running build or something?

Dual chest run?.. This will probably work excelent since there will be no corpses to put up wells and riposte won't work..

Interesting idea, I have an assassin if anyone wants to test this sometime.
Also wouldn't Me/A work as well.

first of all this build is very old ( but when i saw these posts here i think it ins't very popular ) well the build is worse with the 3. capter of guildwars you can cast shadow form every 18 seconds. so you would be incredibel and be abel to solo nearly everithing if it wouldn't get fixed
sry 4my english i know it's not the best of all

I wouldn't say that you could farm "anything" with the duo since non-"spells and attacks" can still get through: signets, traps, area effect spells (lava font, etc), and so forth. You still would have to find the right enemies.

Is it true, but that's the same of all farming builds, all I'm saying is that this seems like it's the more versatile than most that I've seen out there, just more demanding as well. If someone could give this a shot and report back, that'd be great.

Meh, ok, so it's not a new idea. That sucks, but it still doesn't invalidate the post. Will anyone actually give this a shot? I reckon Sunreach would a be a good target.
